Quick answer
Free is useful for learning the editor and building basic widgets. Pro is intended for expanded capabilities described by the current app; compare the features you need before purchasing.
What the free tier includes
WidgetCraft Free supports ordinary widget design with a visual editor, basic data sources, user-made components and six starter built-in components. You can keep up to ten saved authored or imported widgets in the Gallery. Free displays bottom banner ads.
For a new GitHub-hosted template import, Free asks you to explicitly accept and complete a rewarded ad. After a successful import, the same template's local unlock persists; it isn't supposed to demand a new reward every time you reuse the already unlocked template. That is not a subscription.
Try it on your home screen
- List the widgets you actually want, such as a clock, personal gallery or advanced connected data card.
- Make a working simple design in Free to check launcher placement.
- Review the current Gallery and data-source limits, rather than assuming Pro solves a layout or launcher issue.
- Check the Google Play checkout screen for the current price, terms and purchasing account.
What Pro adds
Pro removes the Gallery count limit, gives access to advanced sources and all built-in components, removes ads and skips the rewarded-import requirement. It is a one-time, non-consumable Google Play purchase inside the same Android app. There is no second Pro app and no website checkout.
A base India price of ₹300 was chosen for the app, but Google Play determines the localized price shown to buyers. This guide is not a promise that the purchase or release is already publicly available in every region.
What does not change
Upgrading should not erase existing widgets or drafts. Pro ownership can be restored for eligible purchasers through the Play account used for the transaction. Local widget files and template unlocks are not cloud backups, so a device reset is a separate concern.
Use the free version to test your first few layouts and read Gallery management before deleting anything to make room.
Check the result
A paid upgrade does not change your launcher's resizing rules or guarantee that a remote data service will work. If an entitlement is missing after purchase, verify the Google account used for checkout before purchasing again. Preserve saved designs before reinstalling.
Common question: Is WidgetCraft Pro a subscription?
The existing project describes a one-time Google Play purchase. Verify the current in-app purchase screen and listing before paying, since store terms can change.
